Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.
Himalayan Salt Stone Massage
Himalayan salt stones are warmed and massaged over the body to ground and balance the body's electro-magnetic field, central nervous system, and meridians. From the ancient primal sea beneath the Himalayan Mountains, these hand-carved salt stones harmonize and revitalize to gently soothe away an accumulation of stress and tension to bring the mind, body and spirit into balance.
Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated basalt stones are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.
This is an ancient Ayurvedic treatment, featuring dry lymphatic skin brushing with raw silk gloves, followed by a heated herbal oil massage. Garshana begins with warmed fresh lemon and Himalayan Pink Salt rubbed into the soles of the feet, which initiates the detoxification process. The dry brushing increases circulation, and polishes the skin, so the herbal oil treatment can penetrate deeply. The herbal-oil application (Abhyanga) nourishes the skin, aids in removing impurities, stimulates both arterial and lymphatic circulation, and relaxes the mind and body.
This seated massage can be done on-site within office settings and other workplaces for stress reduction and pain-relief...a great employee benefit. Chair massages are performed through clothing and without the use of oils or lotions.
Lymphatic Balancing- Total Body
Lymphatic Balancing Therapy aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, LB
can be used for a wide range of purposes including reduction of swelling and discomfort from injury, speed recovery from injury, and strengthen the immune system.
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle yet powerful technique that is effective in releasing neck pain, back pain, and mental stress (among other things). It does this by optimizing the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spine and around the skull. Developed by physician William Sutherland, this therapy provides a very soothing and relaxing healing experience. A CranioSacral specific session is performed with the client dressed in comfortable clothing.
